why was this guy banned?

I was tryting to buy some domains from this guy

but he seems to have gotten himself banned.
Anyone can tell me why? I wouldn't want to pursue it if he got banned for being a thief or something.

He had been banned previously under another identity - always best to avoid dealing with people who get themselves banned.
