question Would you accept a .nz hold with no fixed maximum?

This is a general or domain name related question.

The proposed .nz “Protective Hold” caught my attention for one reason: the draft doesn’t give the hold a fixed maximum duration.

It would only apply to some newly registered domains under 14 days old while DNC checks the holder and registration data, and a successful check should lift the hold as soon as practically possible.

Would that be enough certainty for you as a registrant, or should a registry hold always have a hard time limit?
