Legal hourly fees are in the $250 - $350 range. So his offer of $50 was for 10 minutes of consultation time

By the way, his emails were sent from a law firm, apparently for intimidation purposes. I did not bite as this is both a last and a first name and a geographical location & also used as part of corporate names. Has steady daily traffic and it's 12 years old, taken in all extensions etc.

If he changes his mind it might be too late; I get 2-3 inquiries every month.
