not around here! lmao

You finally got something right, I prefer to buy privately or at drop auctions.... That's where the deals are.

At least we agree on something! (other than Obama being awesome)

What 3 letter .com domains do you have Raider?

Raider,

For someone who is not private at all about her life...hard to believe you are private about domains. I really do think you own none.

Two words: tomb raider ;) hehehe

Your right investor, I dont own any. You found me out. LMAO.

I dont post domains I'm not selling, no reason to.

You really think three letter .com's are cheap at drop auctions ?

Awe shit...here we go again... In the words of Rodney King: "Can't we all just get a loan?" (or was that "along?")

Were all cool here, the boys are just on a fishing expedition. :fish2:

I am talking about the one that you have really missed i mean you was gonna buy it or was thinking about it and decided against it for one reason or another.........there must be one gem that sticks in your mind ?

Yes, boysandgirls.com.... I wanted that one really bad, even tried contacting the owner before it dropped. I think NameFox got it, beating Snapnames and many others.

Several years ago I won Snaps on WineTrader.com and Messieurs.com only to have them stolen during the transfer process. I took it up with SnapNames but they claimed that there was nothing they could do about it.

Both domains were entered into a Moniker auction last year. When I notified Moniker, they removed them from the auction.

Both are still parked.

Someday....

Oh gosh, there were so many of them back in the day.

One example is that I could have had BB.com for a mere $26,000. It was auctioned off on a domain chatroom and I bid until $20k (the cutoff point I told myself before the auction started).

Got a lot of great ones during that time though, that have paid off very very well for me and my family. :smokin:

Missed getting Invest.net @ $10k
Was resold for $40k.

I remember bidding but not winning "digitalphone.com" on TDNAM.
It was my first week of domaining.
I figured names like that were everywhere.

Focus, that name you speak of has really dropped off on compete.com

I'm sure they were a few years ago.

I know I've missed out on some though drop auctions / hand registrations but I think my largest "misses" are registering domains I thought were good (and who didn't?). My largest overall was the NNNNN.com hype.

I had a deal to sell a 2 word .com domain for $150K.
At the same time I was negotiating to buy a similar domain for 20K.

My buyer beat me and bought that similar domain for 20K.
Buyer then canceled our deal for the $150K although we already had an agreement.

Oops. I hope the seller and the buyer weren't the same person. What a cunning scheme would that be!

Another one:

I could have picked up Phonecards.com in 01 if I was a quarter second faster.

There's a lot more.

We are talking domains here, right?

After seeing last night's clips of the world's largest breasts (38 triple K) I suddenly realize I need clarification on this.
