Somebody on eBay today became a recipient of this new scam:

Due to mix up of some numbers and names, we ask that you keep your winning
information confidential until your claims has been processed and your money

I have received this email before too. I just deleted it.

The telephone number is probably one of those that they charge you something like $5 per minute and they try to keep you on the line as long as possible. . .

They probably follow up in a week with instructions to give them a credit card to "confirm" your age before sending the money

I won this morning that damn lottery
Could they take money from your bank account in some ways if you supply them your full details ? I don't think ... Yes, maybe they ask for a credit card number in a second time

I hate all these scams: Internet is a wonderful place where almost anyone can do big money by working honestly and by offering useful services to other people ...
