Zendora.com

What are the opinions of the panel? I reg' it, from an CoolDrops.com list... and thought it rather catchy.. Here's why..

Think of

Zanadoo (movie title)
Zelda (v.Games)

and think of a simular name.. Endoura ? (is that sp. right?)
or is it Endora.. (the email client program)

anyway's.

Zendora also sounds like a pharm 'drug'.. there are many
new drugs out beginning with Z's..

Or could be a good name for a new Software / Accounting software or DataBase building software.

Zendora is an empty vessel.. which I think would be easily branded, by the right company..

what do ya-all think of Zendora.com ??

and this is also a female first name (not common.. but it is a name)

opinions please.. thankyou!

you cant be serious.
Mixing words together to make up an imaginary word, that sounds like a pharmacy drug.

$0 for resale value.
Hope they a product called zendora, otherwise this will never be sold

Hi Wanda,

Eudora is the mail program. Endora was a nice plugin for it. :D

Now that we set history straight, I think the name sounds cool. It would make, for example, a nice name for a search engine, an advice web site, or an adventure club's web site (do these still exist?)

Now, because of its potential marketing value, the resell value is not evident. I also have such creative names that they keep ringing their own melody in my brain but I hold onto them for future use.

Bottom line: grab the name if it rings nice to you :D

And while we are on this subject, what do you think of the name NATIA.com ?

Thanks.

Natia

is that a .com?

Natia.. Natia.. Natia.

it's good

I believe that 'sniglet' names have value (if they are easily read and said.. and recalled/typed in)

Bottom line is

if Sniglet names were of no value
then we wouldn't have BigBiz names such as

VeriZon (the largest cellular & home phone svc. in Tx) maybe usa wide.. not sure

and we wouldn't have name like

Exxon

which paid MILLIONS to a firm.. just to come up with a sniglet
name... which was catchy

Exxon was NOT a Websters word..

but it was 'created'
and now the world...

thinks of Exxon as an every day word.

I'll check my mail..

been on the phone! :)

Thanks. That's the way that I am thinking also. But of course we are in a recession, no matter whether some want to admit it or not. And no, not because of the 9/11 incident either.

The glut and Roman games days are gone.

Thanks for the clarity... i knew i was close..

i never have used that e-mail client program

but here is a perfect example of a 'sniglet' name, which took off like wild fire.. many have the svc.

and as many times as we've seen, read and heard the name..

heck.. i still didn't spell it right.

but you take a name like

Zendora

how can it be misspelled?

it's harder to MISSPELL then to spell correctly as it's recalled.

i love that name.

i think it's one of my best names.

i believe there's a great home waiting for that name.

:)

I think you could develop it into an appealing character profile site to sell to an Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (AD&D) player (or a player of any other similar role-playing game).

interesting thought.. one i had not thought of..

i am not a D & D fan.. not that I am against this.. but
nothing I have ever participated in.

In that case.. I would need to market the name direct.

Do you know of any sites I should visit.. to post the name?

Thankyou!

Made up words sure can sound nice, and may easy to remember and very usable. However anyone wanting a name like that can spend an hour and think up something themselves which is available, so I don't see made up names like that really having much resale value.

Snoopy, last time I spent 5 minutes on a name, I ended up selling it for $$$$ to a guy who spent 3 weeks to come up with the same name.

Thats the exception more than the rule though timechange.

Also, the basis for Zendora doesn't lie in anything overly commercial to begin with making it unlikekly a corporate thinktank would come up with that as their brand name.

Even if they did, they could modift it slightly and come up with:

zendaro.com
zenrado.com
zenduso.com
zandaro.com

after you've read that list a few times, try to remember what the original domain was (I can't).
