Luckily, this one is at Network Solutions. I blinked and passed up the Snap last year though... after it got renewed. Someone else moved in over 6 months ago. Guess its a Pool battle. Don't think it'll go cheap. Some folks didn't think it would ever drop. It's only in Registrar-Hold status now... although its starting to move towards 2 months past expiration.

I wouldn't touch his names with a ten foot pole. All his names have been tagged by the FBI for sure.

I've been sitting here on the group w bench reading this and know that buried in some file at the FBI are about 50 copies of my fingerprints, 8 x 10 glossy photos etc etc. They require them every time I register for a professional license change or whatever. So what?

Who cares if the FBI is watching those names. If you don't tread on trademarks or do something stupid like pointing the kids names toward porn you'll be fine. I actually hope the FBI is watching them and if someone else tries to copy that last idgit I'd like to see him thrown in the can too.

Agree with you stoc

Yeah. Not all his names infringe on trademarks. I seem to remember an article that hailed him and his active "leasing" of domain names as a business. It's all been clouded over due to him apparently getting over-zealous with typos and trademarks. I started compiling a file with some domains that I had liked, and first learned of him when his name kept popping up in the whois results on many names I liked. Since grabbing names isn't something I'm overly interested in, I don't mind making a point of this, although I won't go into too much detail. :)
