Well I sure would be up for London mate. But the weather is sure getting bad here, it's been raining the past few days. You won't be seeing snow for another 6-8 weeks here I believe, if any really. As for hurricanes, don’t get really get them here.

If Adam does decide to do something here, I would volunteer to help out. Would be cool meeting people here on the forum in person :)

Maybe namestrands would be willing to travel down, although not an easy journey, I think it would be worth it and would love to meet him.

Vegas! My new hometown...cheap hotels, lots to do when not in the conference, plenty of cheap places to hold the conference, and great weather year round. Vegas has more sunny days than any city in the USA. Weather here is amazing. Also I could help coordinate the event since I don't have a full time job other than domaining. :)

My best friend is a CMP (Certified Meeting Planner), I'm sure I could get some assistance with planning :) What city have you decided on?

If you go for Vegas (which I'm ALL for btw.. or London... that would be way way cool too)... but if Vegas, make sure whomever is planning checks the conference schedule with the CVB so we're not in town concurrent with a HUGE event that will drive the room rates through the roof.

Maybe you should do a poll, although I am sure this will result in a location somewhere in the US, it is always best doing it where it is most accessible to people. Do a poll, get some more info in, and ultimately base your decision on that. If this happens to be London, then I will do all I can to help out with getting the event underway :)

You can make more than 1 choice.

Check all places you would be willing to attend.

Same issue here. Good to see Dallas on the list. That is but 1 hour away from me. :)

I will certainly be available to plan anything in DALLAS!

Fixed!

Looks like you forgot to put Los Angeles and San Diego in the poll.

Chicago and New York are IN the poll -- Both places that completely shut down their airports to due to bad weather several times a year... unless you're doing this in the summer. There are plenty of option where people wont be forced to sleep on airport floors.
