A name expired yesterday (19-10-2003) and I received a notification from DomainRegistry.com (Pool's partner) that the domain was successfully registered by them (for us).

One hour later I receieved a notification from enom and guess what...they claim to have registered the same name for us!

I'm just waiting for the whois to update...I just hope it doesnt show up with a third registrar

Well........

Pool has sent out messages saying they caught a name (and started auctions/charged people) when they didint.

Enom is having problems as of late and has also previously said it caught something when it didnt.

What you do:

Go to all of pools registrars and check whois there.
Go to all of enoms registrars and check there.

The one not showing pending delete will have caught it.

PS: Not all registrars maintain a realtime whois database so this may not work in all cases.

Hope this helps.
