Now that music sales are officially chart ranked to include mp3 sales, there is a solid opportunity for interest in a web operation that can accumulate different data from different 'country' rankings (UK,AU,USA etc) and provide an overall "global ranking" for music sales.The audience and brand potential for this area is substancial, and would also be of considerable measure to influencing sales to record companies and independent artisits alike.
Formulation of global rankings can even be segmented to make data available based on exisitng "awards" ie : MTV,Brit music, ARIA,world music awards, TOP 40 etc, to calculate best of breed display information.
Industry targeted and forward thinking- it is only a matter of time for this concept to materialize (and the brand to be developed) and requires contact possibly to large exisiting industry connections/corporate.
