wow!
someone got a sweet deal!!

What's so sweet about it? I found exactly 0 link popularity, only 1505 overture results. 263,000 google exact term. What am I missing here?

I don't know I just like the name.
I think most would agree that it is a pretty good name regardless of traffic.

Anyways, perhaps that was a bit much, but still, IMHO it's a pretty sweeet name

You are definitely missing something.

you don't make money in the domain business if you rush out to buy names like tennisclub for 1k. Its a good name...but for a reseller its a bad bad price.

Nope. Even for a reseller this price is just fine.

Well, I disagree. The price is high for no esablished traffic, mediocre keyword search results. Yea, the name sounds good, but not at that kind of dough.

That's what I love about this business.

No matter what the name - no matter what the price - we will always argue with each other. :D

I guess it could be sold to one of the 300 approx tennisclubs that has registered more complicated domains with "tennisclub" in them. Good buy!

It's worth exactly what someone will pay for it. Someone paid $1100 making it worth $1100 to namewinner. Does not mean someone is going to pay that much again but who knows, someone may pay more, may pay less, but whatever they pay will be exactly what it is worth :)
