It's not worth it. They require paper for all transfers - a real hassle. If you buy it with them it may be easier - but their process to even transfer a name in requires faxing them signed paperwork. Their hosting is good, but their domain services are stone-age.

That sucks, not much worse than a registrar who makes one jump thru hoops and a huge hassle to transfer a name. If they are like others I have dealt with, they likely make it tough to do other things too, such as nameserver changes, charging a big fee for ownership changes and transfers, etc. I would not deal with such a place even for $2.99 reg fees.
