closed 2 letter .net domains

Can anyone shed some light on 2 letter .net domains, such as

mr.net
bp.net
ok.net

The reason I ask is that a client has expressed interest in 1 of these domains, and I am a bit out of my depth.

Really, I would be looking at 10k on mr and ko. BP, not sure as you might have some problems with that one. . .

I don't know what these might be worth, but I seem to remember bb.com going for about $9k in Feb this year on ebay - which at the time I thought was ludicrously cheap. Whoever bought it made a killing.

FYI, the domain I was referring to was: dr.net

Its listed at GD, and I made an offer, owner came back and said what he wanted.

way too much for mine or my clients liking.
