2 questions about selling domainnames

Never mind question 1... found a couple of good answers.

And I understood from the GoDaddy site that I have to wait 60 days before I
can transfer domains, did I understand this correctly?

i believe you have to wait 60 days at all reg as per icann or some rule in tos

I believe the 60 day period applies to 'Registrar' transfers only, not Ownership transfers.

Yes not Ownership transfers.

You can transfer the domain to another user within the same register - within 60 days
