Look up the current monthly search volume for 2009 hairstyles. It's amazing how huge this niche is. 2010 will be no different. You'll begin seeing type-in traffic in November. If you make a mini-site or blog out of it, you'll see some very nice organic search traffic for a full 12+ months. It's a can't miss with search volumes this high.
If you're curious how to monetize, take a look at the conversions numbers at your favorite affiliate program for campaigns related to hair care, body improvement, etc. Not to mention you'll be attracting the younger generation in large numbers.... look at how high payouts are for things like ringtones.
