Hey J :)

I had a couple questions about VS6.com

How old was that article? What kind of traffic does the name get?

Also - I noticed (from a link at google) that the name was listed for sale here...

http://www.domainhighway.com/premium1.html

Did you buy it from him - or is he trying to sell it for you?

Reason for the questions is that I'm looking for traffic domains - and trying to narrow down a few...

Thanks.

The article is probably about 1999. There is a reference to a 1998 article so its not older than 1998, but can't be too recent based on the content. I was just trying to give a historical perspective to the domain.

I had no idea it had been posted for sale at one time. Evidently he couldn't sell it because I registered it after finding it on a deleted domains list.

It gets about 10 hits a day so I wouldn't buy it for traffic if I were you. I don't mind hanging onto it, but I don't have any current plans for it so I thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone found it interesting.

Thanks very much for the info. That's very helpful & honest.

By the way - the name still has pretty good link pop at MarketLeap with 171 links including 70 at Google - so it's probably going to keep getting some traffic for a while. I also found a couple other products with 'VS6' used as an acronym - so it's a nice little name indeed! :)
