Sedo sells 3D.com for $500,000 > Elliotsblog - What do you guys think of the sale price?

great price for the buyer! worth more ($1 million+)

Great buy... got a steal!

Even after the 3d-TV fad wears out, it still has huge value!

Really low. The fact that such a unique property sold for less than, say, iReport.com indicates less about the domain's quality than about the seller's skill & persistence.

Buyer got a good deal on this name

Still a very nice sale and I'm sure the seller is happy

good deal 4 the buyer.

It must have been a good deal 4 the seller as well since he sold it :)

its a great deal for the buyer.

If the seller needed the money, and it did what he needed, than its a great deal for him, too.

pretty good price

I understand why people think that the price is low. 3D has so much potential.

But you have to understand that Elliot deals with short term deals. I'm sure he will take that $500k and start turning that into various investments starting now.

He could wait for a better deal but he can make that $500k grow into something larger.

I'd be happy with $500k to start investing on other domains.

Wouldn't you?

Skinny

Domain wasn't owned by Elliot. He was just reporting on the sale.

I don't think he sold it - he just reported the sale.

And sure, it's nice to have $500K to invest, but would have been better to have $1 mil. ;)
