As regards the 5--5.com name, I think that names with twin dashes seems a bit of a stretch (pun intended). I can't imagine registering such a name, but there are always buyers for something.

Sorry to say, but for me the value is nill.

$xx based on recent public sales of short "small group character pattern" non-traffic dot com names. If there is not already a np thread devoted to n--n.coms, it may be too late in the current cycle for such a thread to appear, but this name will eventually be recognized as one of 10 premium repeating members of that group. Unfortunately the entire domain market is weakening, so if not sold immediately it may require holding for several renewal cycles until cashing in during the next wave of market mania.
