$5 presently buys a year reg for a .us name at GoDaddy.

I work with Dan Mullen, mail him your names, and he will reg to your account, [email protected]

Hmmmmm. A ham sandwich, or a dot-us name.

I think I'll stick with the sandwich

Thanks for letting us know about that offer Kidd. The Duke (formerly of earl) will be very happy.

Hey Dob

I agree with you completely. These us names are a total waste of money that is better spent on a ham sammy. Out of compassion for those that have made the mistake of regging some of these us cctld names, I have started a fund to reimburse them for their reg fees. Those members wanting a refund on their us regs can contact me with their lists and I will either pay them $7 each or a gift certificate for a ham sandwich at any participating subway shop. This offer is good for select names only. Doc

Are sure that covers new regs Kidd? The last time someone posted an offer like this from GoDaddy I called them and they told me it only applied to renewals on existing .US names being held there.

I remember reading that there was a misunderstanding on that price, unless Neustar has decided to receive less than $5 per reg recently. Isn't the base minimum $6?

Here is the note, best to contact them first and check. This special

This offer is limited to the first 5,000 names. I haven't seen a better deal anywhere else, and the customer service is great.

Dave,

The .US name special will expire after the first 5000 names are sold. This applies to .biz names as well.

Dan - How limited, and is this for mail or call in only?

Dave

That's interesting feedback from godaddy support. We as resellers (www.centerdomain.com) don't have this kind of limits, only limited promotions up to March 31, this is posted in our reseller page. My wild guess is, they want you to register as many as you can ... marketing gimmik ...

Thanks for the update kids...

regards,
tw
