Answer2Day
Answer2Day.com is a game based on users question inputs, it works like a quiz except it is alittle different. It already has 120 players, and is growing rapidly. Currently the prize is a domain name. Which is 2 domains a month in prizes so you pay out around $11 but you make more than this from the revenue. With the idea of the game, everyone gets somthing. You get money via ads, the winners get a domain, the domain registra gets more domains. Perfect system and could do with some more developement ideas. Right now it also offers a surfer, with a bit of advertising you could get backlinks easily, or paid listings on the surfer. It works by each user visiting the site for 30 seconds and they are issued points, theres are currently 174 sites in the surfer, most of them are sites i am related too, but there is currently 2 sites added which i did not submit, so thats 2 backlinks. If advertised well it could be good for backlinks and income. The last site on the surfer has recieved 221 hits, so all sites have recieved atleast that many hits, the first sites will have recieved more because it works by going in the list to make sure all sites get the same amount of hits.
A rough calculation shows.
221 * 174 = 38454 outgoing hits from the surfer, so its a very good thing to have. Ofcourse not all of these are unique and i have not recorded how many uniques they actualy are.
As you can see the site has lots of potential, but it could also do with a redesign, not a real issue now but it might help attract more players.
Right now i am doing no moderation to the site last time i was there, was to issue the last round winners domain. If it gets bigger and needs moderation there is currently a player named Kenny who won the last round, he is willing to do moderation just to help out the game so that is always an option for you.
The site was coded by me, and all copyrights are given to the new owners. They are no replica's of this script anywhere, the closest to the script you will get of answer2day is the one i am selling which is not the same but it is based on answer2day.
The new owner will recieve a reseller account for the domains, which i will provide support for.
Quiz Script
Currently this is based on Answer2Day, it has quite a number of extra features and is fully configurable via config.php
You can fully edit the number of questions allowed in queue via admin panel, has a easy setup file to create and insert defaults to your database.
It includes admin options to moderate the questions, which if a moderator/admin feels the need they can either just delete the question or they can punish the user.
It also includes a hard question feature which users gain even more points for if they get it correct.
Generaly an overall exciting script.
2 People hold a liscence for this script and they are alot of mods to it based by them, currently you can either have.
3 possible answers for questions or you can have
5 possible answers.
Currently there the script is used for a cat quiz and a general quiz.
All liscences cost $120 and are available for multiple sites.

This script will crawl neowin.net and get all the headlines from the archive page, and then store them in the database. It will then take the id + category from that and crawl there full story page and insert the full story into the database under that headline, it will store news/headline/source/category/id.

This is a site crawler, i first made this script for an experiment and then developed it alittle to use the database. Now it will crawl each site for other links to new sites, does not gather invidual pages only subdomains and solid domains. It will keep crawling until you tell it to stop. This would be great if you want to find expired domains that will be picked up quick by search engines. Great if you want to start a search engine also.
