Just got this last night:

Dear eNom ETP Reseller,

Thanks a million!

Actually, thanks SEVEN million! eNom is proud to announce that we've just reached the milestone of 7,000,000 domain names on our platform.

That number will rise to 8.5 million once the integration of our acquisition of BulkRegister is completed ... but we didn't want to wait to start offering thanks to our valued network of direct ETP resellers.

$6.50 DOMAINS: ONE WEEK ONLY

Yes, our most popular TLD's will be just $6.50 from November 2-8. No matter what your present pricing plan, all eNom ETP's will be eligible for this special promotion. To get this price, you must sign up now. It's easy!

FIRST contact your eNom Sales Manager to set your account for this promotional pricing before October 31. Subaccounts are not eligible. Not sure who your eNom Sales Manager is? Contact us by email, and include your Login ID.

Start buying $6.50 domains starting November 2. Those ETP's who have signed up will have their accounts set for that rate. Eligible TLD's are .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .us, and .name.

Pricing is valid for new domains and transfers. Note that the $6.50 rate only applies to one year registrations and only to ETP's who have signed up before October 31. Multiple year registrations will be at your normal rate.

Enjoy this early "Thanksgiving" and our sincere appreciation for helping eNom become the world's #1 reseller registrar.

Sincerely,

John Kane

there is cheap renewals to:
1.
push names you want to renew to other enom account
2.
initiate transfer for 6.50 back to the old account
it worked for me when they had this promotion i summer, saved couple of hundred bucks on renewal fees...

You do realize this is a price INCREASE, correct?

Transfers are currently $6.35, and .INFO registrations are $6.35. So were are 'celebrating' with a price increase.

I think if you are $7.95/$8.95 level ETP, you'll enjoy this promotions :)

I understand they have fixed this "workaround" ... the sale price on transfers is valid only if you are transferring a name from another registrar TO enom.

Answer from Enom: the $6.35 transfer and .info pricing that you were hearing
about. This instance was residual from a previous special that we had
offered. For some reason their pricing had not been properly adjusted
back to the original rate after the special had ended. Oddly enough,
this individual contacted us today, as well, and it brought to our
attention this error in their pricing. It have since been corrected.
They no longer have this rate as it was a 'glitch' and not a pricing
level that we offer.
