If you look closer you will see that most of those names are .orgs and SnapNames has completely been out of the .org race - though as noted in another thread they expect to be back in the thick of it with .orgs soon. They did quite well with 3-letter .nets yesterday (one of those was mine in fact).

Enom had a chance to do what POOL is doing several months ago but they didn't have the foresight. They came up with "CLUB FLOP" instead.

I might be stupid - but it didn't went into auction ; doesn't that mean that no-one else @ pool placed a bid on tasty.com ?

Shaggy, I am one of those that paid $60+ for 3 letter .org at the Pool Party.

It's all of those complimentary drinks they give you at the Pool. And, when you wake up the next morning you say "What have I done?"

I paid $112 for one but I'm very happy with it as it gets steady traffic (which I knew in advance that it would). Nothing wrong with paying $60 plus if you have a good reason to.

The way it works is that pool domains don't go into auction until after they are caught.
