Colleger . com Sold[/QUOTE

Refunded my payment because “someone paid before you.” I realize this forum does not have the structure of eBay, but it would be helpful if the rules about listing on multiple forums or paying without posting sold were clear to avoid people wasting time evaluating sold names.

Of course nothing compared to the havoc that that one other person caused this week. Since I don’t sell wholesale, I was not taken, but he/she did outbid me for a name. It’s easy to be outbid when using someone else’s money. Time for some more rules on Dnforum?

It is the seller's responsibility to post SOLD on an advertised domain, if he has received payment for the domain.

It is the buyer's responsibility to contact the seller, before sending payment.
This is to ensure that the domain is available for purchase, and the seller is aware that you have offered to buy.

Most assume that an advertisement may be included in other venues, unless specifically stated as 'exclusive'.

Additionally, both seller's and buyer's retain the right, not to sell or buy from anyone!

I have purchased enough domain names to know that when I accept a “buy it now” price, some of the time the seller will get greedy and ask for more.

But it’s rather an extreme anarchy position to take that any advertised BIN prices are meaningless since either party may change his mind. How would you like it you went to a store relying on newspaper advertisements and they told you that “we don’t have to sell any at that price” which is illegal for obvious reasons.

People who post honest BIN prices are hurt by dishonest BIN prices, because buyers don’t trust BIN prices in addition to wasting time chasing phantom domain names when buyers could be buying from someone who wants to sell.

I'll pay $24 by PayPal to the new owner of Colleger.com.

I can't tell from the limited Whois who now owns colleger.com.

Online did refund my $8 after 2 days, so he's not running a PayPal scam like the other person this week.
