OK, want to reduce my sites, so I'm going to try something new - a reverse auction of some nice websites (most established with traffic and income) with a difference. The posted BINs (already low and good grabs from the start) will be reduced everyday from now until Christmas day. Depending on my mood on the particular day the reduction may be substantial, or very little, I just don't now yet. I will try and post the reductions every 24 hours.
So, for you as potential buyer the dilemma is - do I grab it now, before someone else does, or do I wait and see with how much he reduces it (and risk someone else posting SOLD before I do)? The longer you wait, the cheaper it becomes, but the bigger the chance another will buy it before you.
Should be interesting ... we'll see.
Do your homework and due diligence regarding registrar, age, expiry date, PR, backlinks, popularity etc. with tools such as domaintools, iwebtool, urltrends or whatever you fancy. I will gladly post traffic/revenue details if/when requested - just didn't have time right now.
