Ok there is a domain 900igr.net whose .com version 900igr.com is available.
I want to ask if it is worth buying such domains?
The .net version is Russian language based, has global Alexa rank of 29238 and country rank 1620 in Russia.

What can be done with such domains apart from buying it and then immediately offering to sell it to .net owner. I mean can we do something to monetize this domain or generate some traffic?

This thread should really be in discussions rather than
appraisals, and with regard to names like this, you need
to be asking yourself why the owner of a popular site
went with .net, and left the .com unregged.

This is highly unusual, and you also need to think about
possible legal issues re: the scenario you have just outlined,
i.e. could the .net owner, with the established site, sue you
for trying to infringe on his TM?

These are just 'the basics' to consider really...

Certainly, as a generic ref., "900igr" has no meaning (that i'm
aware of) and if it has no meaning, and you're wanting to
monetize, then you're forced to trade upon their name/tm;

Make sense?

:)

Yeah I opened this thread for learning purpose to understand what to do. It is certainly not a TM name which I already knew but I didn't get your second point about being forced to trade upon their name?

I just mean that if you have to monetize the name then you
will be unable to do unless you try to profit from what the .net site
are doing.
