Hello!
I am still only thinking about selling these 2 domains, they are in my 'maybe-if-someone-pays-me-an-incredible-amount' pile
Also, I am new here.. and to this whole domain thing so don't bite me.. but please be honest!

1) RateMySite.net - A site kind of similar to those other rating sites (ratemyface etc), Except on this site, you rate other peoples' websites. You can rate them between 1-5 and you can also leave a review of the site. It is powered by PHPNuke, so it is pretty different to the other generic rating sites. It has only been open for about a month & gets about 450 (?) unique hits a day.. There are over 1000 members and over 750 sites in the database. People over @ NamePros gave about an average appraisal of $900..I have it listed on Ebay already but I have a feeling nobody will bid.. even I think that it is overpriced ($500).
Alexa ranking: 292763

2) Nova-Boards.com - This one I will only try to sell if I can get a lot for it (although, i'm only 19, just 100 bucks is a lot for me  )
Anyway, Nova is a message board, its aimed at teen website owners.. not the best market, i know. But it gets something like 1000 unique hits/ day. 3760 users and is really active. This month I have made over $150 in selling ads and popup space there. If I were to sell it.. i would only want it to go to someone who would keep it pretty much as it is now, a message board.
Alexa ranking: 121,571

Please give your honest appraisals.. if they are both worth zilch then please say so and I will probably just keep them both just for a hobby :D

Those are nice sites. I really dont know how much they are worth. But if I had the money, I would probably buy them.

Good work. :)

Great sites, Linda.

Can't really appraise a value, but the established traffic on Nova-Boards should make it worth quite a few bucks. (My daughter would prolly like to run that one :) )

Don't know your career goals - but at age 19, if you are considering web development as a career, you might want to hold onto these as part of your "experience" portfolio.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks Beachy and Abusiveelusive. I am in fact wanting to do more web development and creating both of those sites were great experience for me! I guess now that they are established, i have nothing else to do on them, so i want to move on! More so with RateMySite.net anyway.

Does anyone have an approximate $$ value that I should be looking at here?

RateMySite.net(name only)
$50~$100

Nova-Boards.com(name only)
$50

Just my opinion, good luck.

What about for the full site, all files and databases and everything?
I would rather not sell either of them if it is just the name.

It fried my brain!!!:weird:

I have no clue on the values. I would just say $1500 for the pair. You might be able to fetch that. ... If you get the Site Rating one more active.

Thanks!

Gosh, this paid membership thing is a bit of a waste isn't it? I got so many more proper replys just at namepros :\
