I recently thought 'what would happen to my domains' in the event I suddently "dropped". In the event of my expiration, I don't think there's anyone in my family or immediate friends that could fully appreciate the domaining business and the proper way to deal with my domains (which to drop, responding to offers, etc).

So I'm going to try and find a local Domain name Executor buddy, so to speak... Someone in the Philly area with a comparable amount of names (1,000 or so) that could advise my family in such a situation.

I would leave all my account names/passwords and a note to call "John Smith" and he/she will help you decide what to do with my investment (and maybe explain what the heck I was always on the computer Doing, lol).

Just a suggestion... Feel free to add additional apects to this discussion that may be beneficial.

Cheers !

It is a very interesting question and one that I too have recently considered in light of a personal experience regarding a friend.

I would submit that you probably want to get the family attorney in the loop on this one. My guess is that he/she might suggest or set up some form of living trust or suggest an experienced estate planner to help you through the choices.

Better sell all domains fast

I think create a company that own all domains save your names.
