Yun Ye sold at 8X annual earnings --6 years ago.

I ran a site like his for nearly 10 years so I know where he is at listening to what the site is.. He is going to expect 3 years income in my opinion, and he will probably still feel like he gave it away...... If you were to get it for 1 year rev, you basically stole it... 3 years rev, 2 1/2 minimum, is probably fair for both... Sounds to me like its one of those leading sites that get away with murder... Hard if not reasonably impossible or would take many years to replicate.

Got it for $100K (4 times yearly income).

I thank everybody for their input. Some may think I paid too much - but this has as much to do with me buying the site as it does with my competition not being able to buy it (as they have recently done with a similar site)

Great news - keep plugging away - that $100K will be pocket change - you get to keep the 50k per year now so in 3 years

how does he maintain his site ?

Congratulations. I hope this is very lucrative and profitable for you.

Three Congratulations:
One for the deal.
One for nobody saying it is overpriced.
One for nobody saying it is underpriced.
I think this is one of the greatest posts on DNForum and else!

Congratulation on the complete deal . You should submit the news to DNjournal also.
