Looking for some appraisals on this one.

It's registration was the result of some drunken banter between myself and my brother...he reckoned that he could come up with a domain in under 15 minutes that he could sell for more of a profit than any I could come up with.....it had to be a newly registered domain and this is what he came up with...

I thought it wasn't a bad effort (so I also registered the .net...lol), and although it's a triple word it kinda works in the sense of 3 Aces and Poker/Card Games.

Anyways....what do you all think?

It's cute. I don't know about value though. Depends on the end-user. I don't see you getting more than reg. fee from a reseller.

Geez... I've registered far better names drunken then sober with nice ROI .... unfortunately you will have to let both the .com and the .net drop next year...

Thanks guys....if I'm honest I pretty much expected it to be worth little as an undeveloped domain.

I have some mates who are after a forum for local poker players so I'll probably put that on the .net and use the .com as the landing page with some poker affiliate links, ads and content in the hope of getting it to pay for itself.

Don't do domaining while drunk. I made a $330k bid on a domain, when I got home at 4:00AM in the morning from New Year's celebration. I woke up the next day and all I knew was that I had made a $330k offer on a domain, but I didn't even remember the domain name, so I almost sh*t my pants .. :lol: :lol:

Found out a little later that I was overbid though and that $330k would be a bargain for that domain. But still ... haha..

Look me up for a game of poker....in terms of best hands, I'd pit my Ace Ace Ace against your Ace Ace any day of the week....we can argue over who brought the 5th Ace to the table afterwards :lol:

You know what I mean, pre-flop playing texas holdem. I play freerolls all the time, won a couple too actually

Yeah I know...I was only messing.

I have some experience of building traffic via forums, so I'll probably go that route and just recover the outlay from adsense and affiliate revenue. I quite like it personally, so it may find a space in my cherished favourites.
