Please appraise my first developed domain name:

www.acne.info

Hot keyword. Very nice business opportunity. Great potential for reseller/developer/end user (advertising, affiliate links, adsense etc).

I recently sold Flu.info (undeveloped for mid $1x,xxx) and many believe Acne has much higher potential (all year round illness, higher paying medication, is especially common amongst 12-25 year olds - large Internet user group).

Would apprecaite any comments/appraisals/gen. feedback.

This has been appraised last week if I remember well...

The fact that you spent a couple of hundreds on a template and some articles won't make the price jump like mad.

Now you should think at the hardest part of the story...optimization, getting traffic, rankings, monetizing and finding advertisers.

Have an idea or 2 for you. I am not even going to charge you for them -- LOL .
I looked to see if Proactiv has an affiliate progrom and they do
Never participated in it or had/have any affiliation with it so I can't offer any opinion on the program
However I would suggest joining the Proactiv affilate program and put the affiliate link right under the young man on the front age (see other suggestion below). IMHO it would work really well on the site

Also I want to make another suggestion. Don't take this wrong but you might want to consider using a picture of a young women rather than a man as young women (teen through 20's) are much more apt to spend money on acne treatment then young men at the same age. I remember when my brother had zits, he bascially could have cared less. I, on the otherhand, bought any and every zit cream out there. If you do this, pick a picture of a beautiful girl that happens to have some ance -- make sure she is attractive. There are probably "before and after" pictures from affilate programs you can use (in fact I think Proactiv had Jessica Simpson as a spokesperson -- she would be perfect, young gals love her and she is beautiful. Also if I recall correctly, there is a brunette movie star spokesperson

I really think you could do very well good on the Proactiv.

Note.... there are several good affiliate programs targeting acne. There also many affiliate programs that have acne products in their lines.

Personally I would promote all of them.

Absolutely Acne products have much more financial potential for you. It also falls in the "embarassment zone" which means many people would rather purchase the product online rather than having someone see them purchase the product at a local store.
