Acquiring Name status

Hi guys, I see on one of expiring domain names that I had backordered "Acquiring Name" status for about 3 days.

What I have to think about it ? Did they catch the domain or they will set auction for it or what ?

if they catch it and you were the only person who backordered it, then it may be yours


if you were not alone, then there will be an auction

Thanks, but how much time do I have to wait for this ? It's still in Acquiring Name status and it makes me feel nervous.

well, you'll have to wait until the domain actually drops

and hope the current owner doesn't renew it


or you'll be waiting another year or more
