The Administrative Contact Phone number is wrong for a domain I am interested in. If you call it is disconnected.

Is this grounds for disputing the registration, and can I get this domain from its current registrant based on this?

Actually, as an added incentive to help me, I will tell you the domain, it is markette.com. If you grab this out from its current owner, I am sure he will pay big money to get it back

If anything, the name would be dropped, not given to you as a finder's fee.

And they won't be dropping a name just because a phone number is disconnected.

There's no way to "grab" it unless you buy it from the owner.

Just dropping the name would be fine with me. Anything to cause the current owner hassle  . Any ideas?

I filled several complaints for a domain that uses this data:
Registrant ID:CTLG170826
Registrant Name:fadfsd sdds g
Registrant Organization:fadfsd sdds g
Registrant Street1:asdasd asdasdfef wf f
Registrant Street2:
Registrant Street3:
Registrant City:asgassag asg
Registrant State/Province:ak
Registrant Postal Code:05555
Registrant Country:US
Registrant Phone:+1.2342344
Registrant Phone Ext.:
Registrant FAX:+1.2342344
and the domain was not dropped.
So believe me when I say - they won't be dropping a name just because a phone number is disconnected.

I've heard that reporting domains with false data is very slow and when it does get through usually the person who registered it is forced to change the whois data (the name isn't dropped) or nothing happens at all.

Where are your ethics?? Why so determined to hassle the owner?? Sounds like you have a personal problem with this person...

Nice. I take it you're not a business owner?

How about we hassle you until you give up your domains... huh? Geeez.

Sure, take it, baby. Next one you can grab based on false zip code. :dead:
