Advertising on warez forum?

Would advertising on a Warez forum be bad for my site?
Would you say advertising on a Warez forum is wrong?

I know it would bring in a lot of decent traffic for a small price, Just wondering everyones opinions.

if you have no problems with owning a warez, then you should advertise.

If you are against warez sites based on principal/moral, then you should not advertise. Advertising on a warez is almost as bad as owning a warez site.


Judging that you are thinking on advertising based on "small price", then you should advertise.

It really depends on what kind of traffic do you want. If you think those are "decent" traffic, why hesitate? The bottom line is: are these people (who frequent warez forums) your target clientele?

I'd stick well away from warez sites, theres other sites to advertise on. Personally if I were linked to a warez site in one way or another I'd personally feel it would have a bad impact on my site ,aswell as giving it a negative image.

as long as you dont give link to them, your advertising method will be a decent one if you can get traffics for a low cost. But to my personal view, i wont do it!

Im advertising a proxy, Researching for a few weeks about the kind of people who use proxies, Warez is one of the big uses, Im still not sure wether to go ahead with it, Im not for warez but im not against, I just feel by paying to advertise im supporting the the warez community, Its wrong, I dont know wether to go with traffic (revenue) over consience

People who use warez don't want to pay money. Warez/torrents/cheapstake stuff never do well, the people aren't looking to spend money.

I agree with Jonathan.
However, there is a large crowd of younger people that go to warez sites.
Now, if your site targets a young audience, it might not be too bad if the price is right.
then again, your reputation (and your sites) *might* be affected....

It is young people (13-19) who i am targetting, The price is right, I hope to get revenue from PPC advertisements, Not selling a product (yet)
