That's an interesting point.
Being outside of US obviously I have to list as an organisation outside of US that does business there. Failing that I may have to transfer all domains over to my friends in the country.
Typical US mentality - they want to buy everything in the world but not let anyone have theirs

You have to remember; .US is essentially a national domain, that was initially reserved for schools and government organizations.

The same applies to domains for other countries, e.g. .GR - one must have a legitimate presense there.

It's still too early to say what the .us is worth. A lot of .us sales are being sold to resellers rahter than end users. Let the market be aware of them first and then the price will act accordingly.

To be honest, I've seen better 3-letter .us sell for around $300-$400. So don't hold your breath if you plan to sell it for big bucks in a near future.
