what is ten hundred dollars?

Not too surprising given the economy. The seller maybe hoped for more if it was in auction, but there are probably better ways to spend $1000 right now.

If 10 hundred dollars stand for $10.000 is a nice sale.

Edit - 1k? not a nice sale .mobi is dead :D

what could you do with AIR.mobi ???

1k seems fair I guess

I wouldn't pay it.

many LLL.mobi's are being dropped

air.mobi sold for $1,050 ... You still can check it out on Sedo "Recent Sales" homepage report.

.mobi is dead, lucky sell!

There seem to be some 'lucky sells' in .mobi every week in the dnjournal report.

man i lost a good chunk of my money in .mobi - i was 900% into the profit range, i should have sold them when i could.. now im left with renewals!

funny to find a thread about my purchase
yes i bought it....

and i do not regret it.... (YET)

hope to find some time to develop it soon (got already a logo)

Another DOA TLD coming up, .tel

atleast it was a decent LLL combination, 'air' and not no other random like 3 letters that dont spell anything.

the delivery of oxygen to unhealthy patients is big business.
also the delivery of CO2(carbon dioxide) to restaurants, too

I did my best to warn you.

There are over 50 .mobi portfolios with negative values in excess of $50,000 each. They are nicely posted at mobility dot mobi.
Shouldn't that be morbility?

Acro - I am certainly not clairvoyant, but I think that you seem to have the ability to fore.tel the future. ;)

I honestly feel sorry for the people who both funded and operate that TLD. In better days, .tel might have had potential for being one of the stronger players in the alternate .tld market space, whocan.tel? But for now iwont.tel

As for .mobi, it always made me think whale. Now, given this thread for the latest vote of confidence in .mobi, I suppose that I shall think of it now as beached whale.

I don't think there is a single person here who couldn't say something similar. I should have sold my NNNNN.com domains when they were selling $15-$25 each.

It doesn't take a crystal ball to predict the fate of .tel.
