When we relaunched Airo for WordPress last year, the idea was straightforward: AI that builds and edits real WordPress sites, not previews. Real themes. Real plugins. Real hosting. Today we’re taking the next step. Airo now lives directly inside your WordPress dashboard.

One place to do everything​

Generate a site with Airo and you’ll see a new sidebar right inside your WordPress dashboard. Chat with it to rewrite a section, add a new page, or change your color scheme. Browse style presets, color palettes, and font pairings in dedicated tabs. Everything happens where you’re already working.

No more switching between a separate tool and your WordPress site. No more copy-pasting between windows. You describe what you want, and Airo makes it happen on the site you’re already looking at. The sidebar is available today for sites built with Airo, and we’re working on bringing it non Airo generated WordPress sites soon.

Whether you’re a business owner building your first site or updating it every week, everything you need is in one place. No second tool to learn. Agencies get the same benefit across client sites: open WP admin, open Airo, make changes, move on.

Everything we’ve shipped this quarter​

We’ve built a massive amount of improvements since the start of the year. Here’s what you’ll notice.

Editing you can trust on real sites​

We rebuilt the editing engine from the ground up. The previous version could get confused on pages with a lot of sections and blocks, which is basically every real site. The new system is significantly more precise. Tell Airo to change a heading on the About page and it changes that heading. Not something three sections down.

If you’ve tried AI editing before and found it unreliable, it’s worth another look.

Sites that actually look designed​

This matters whether you’re handing a site to a client or launching your own. Airo now pulls from over 150 professionally designed section patterns, powered by the open source DesignSetGo plugin that extends the block editor with our design library. Hero banners, feature grids, testimonials, pricing tables, team layouts, galleries, comparison tables, timelines. We also added shape dividers and 25+ background textures. The kind of polish that separates “AI-generated” from “professionally built.”

We added 8 new color palettes too (Noir Gold, Coral, Cherry Blossom, Amethyst, and more) and refreshed the existing ones, but you can always ask Airo to create a custom palette based on your brand. There’s a lot more to work with now.

Build in any language​

Airo now detects the language you’re chatting in and generates everything in that language: site content, page headings, copy, even error messages. French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, and dozens more. No settings to change. Just start typing.

If your business operates in a non-English language, or you serve clients in multiple markets, this opens up Airo for work that wasn’t practical before.

Use your own brand photos​

Upload your logo, product photos, and brand images before you generate, and Airo builds them into your site from the start. No more swapping out stock photos after the fact.

This was one of our most requested features. Stock photos are fine for inspiration, but your site needs to look like your business. Now it can, from the first generation.

A blog, ready from day one​

Airo sets up a blog page as part of your site build, writes initial posts tailored to your business and industry, and removes the default WordPress placeholder content. That means SEO-ready content and something for visitors to read from the moment your site goes live. For agencies, it’s one less thing to build manually for each client.

Fewer failures, better recovery​

We overhauled how Airo handles problems during site generation. If something non-critical goes wrong (say, the blog setup or WooCommerce configuration hits a snag), Airo finishes building everything else and tells you what needs attention. When errors do happen, you get a clear message in your language explaining what went wrong. No more blank screens or wondering what happened. Thousands of sites have been built with Airo this quarter, and the success rate keeps climbing.

• Session reliability: Expired sessions refresh automatically. Fewer interruptions mid-edit.

What’s coming next​

The native dashboard experience is just the beginning. Here’s what we’re building.

• A major design quality push: A new semantic color and palette system, richer hero and layout patterns, and more visual variety across every site. The goal: no two Airo sites should look alike.
• Safe edit rollbacks: Undo any AI change with one click. Experiment freely on your live site without the risk.

• Site refresh: Already have a WordPress site? Airo will be able to modernize it. Import your existing content and rebuild with a fresh design.
• Proactive AI recommendations: Instead of waiting for you to ask, Airo will suggest what to improve next based on your site’s content and structure.
• Deeper WooCommerce management: Full store operations, not just initial setup. Add products, create promotions, and manage orders through Airo.
