I am not very familiar with alexa ranked expiring domain name: I would like to know in an average (if possible) do you think an expiring domain name with alexa ranking of around 5 mil. is worth to backorder or not.
I am not sure if I sould buy those domains since they have no overture at all.
Any help on past experience is highly appreciated.
Cheers

can you please be more specific why not, I have domains that have 5mil in alexa and have more than 400 uniques per day that is my main issue (well the overture is pretty high as well.\),
Thanks for the feedback anyway

You can visit my site nameschat.com,there only few people(not more than 10) visit it every day,but you will find the ranking in Alexa is not low. So,Alexa ranking is not exact.

Any Alexa ranking above 10,000 is rough, any alexa ranking above 100,000 is incredibly rough.

defintely not, You can put up any new site with even a bit of traffic and get 5 million in alexa rankings.

The lower the alexa ranking the better. i.e.) yahoo has a rank of #1.

5mil you could put up a site and spam it and achieve at least a couple mil.

I understand everything guys but what I am wondering is the following:
There are soon to expire domain that do not have any overture but have alexa ranking from 1 milion upto 5 milion simply from past experience from those kind of domains do you think that those domain would get any traffic?
I am sure they did not use any script or spam thing to increase the ranking.
I ask this question because most of my domain do not pass the 800K mark but I have many that receive over 300 uniques per day and some of them do not have any alexa at all (still good overture) and some of them are over the 3 milion mark.
Please if you have some past experience with backordered alexa domain and some roguh figure on the uniques I would really appreciate

Well sometimes its chance but they are not worth a backordering unless u got the money to test but still look for ways its getting traffic because I had domainsI didnt tell anyone and they got million alexa... P.S. tell me if im wrong but alexa is just marking the best to the worst on the nets demand.
