Has anyone ever met Amazon's registry team? .. really curious about the Amazon Registry Services, Inc.

.. it also seems their domain name registration process is a little different > https://aws.amazon.com/getting-started/hands-on/get-a-domain/ .. so geeky .. how to register a domain name with Amazon's route 53.. huhh.. a sure way how to scare away a simple Joe.
