Thanks RADiSTAR,

Yes, I agree with you.

But let's put in another way to see..

If there have 2 domains:

AmericanIdolName.com

AmericanIdol.name

It's totally same meaning for the above 2 domains, most of the people will prefer the .com domain, I think ... but AmericanIdol.name shortly :cheeky:

I think this name goes well with the .name TLD. Might be some TM issues with it, but none the less it has some good development potential......$80-120

Thanks ED !

If possible, I'd like to find and cooperate with a company whom have the confidence to create & development a website regarding the most popular Idols (the heros from the battlefield, fire fighter, movie stars, singers even...) of the USA - to introduce the story of those Idols, seems like a index... And 100% nothing to do with the TV program...

currently some .in domains get typeins, I can't see a .name getting typeins without a major ad campain.

So I would say lucky to get reg. fee, unless people want it for email address's. Though times can change - .info got very few typeins a few years ago. Developed could be a different story.

Saying that I've never been to a .name site or looked one up.

Good luck

To put it bluntly, this domain name is worthless.

you can use it for development and make much use on search engines because of the keywords invloved.
Unlike .IN, .name is a sgTLD not a ccTLD. However, that said, .name isnt on the top list, and probably is the last on the list as far as popularity for sgTLD's go.
as is, low $XX
