AngelinaJolie.com is for sale! This domain has great potential, especially since Angelina has been in the news and just starred a new movie.

This domain has great type in traffic and an AMAZING click through rate with adsense. We have done NO promotion for this domain to get this traffic, so you can imagine what a little promotion would do for a domain like this.

We had plans to move forward with developing a great fansite but we've decided to move forward with other things, so we are now liquidating our investment. This domain will also come with a fully designed flash website which is still being developed through a service provider on elance "over $3,000 invested in the website design alone", as well as a vbulletin license and user database. We have had a message board up for a month and a half or so, just to have something there, and we have over 1k registered users already.

Imagine how well this domain could do properly monetized and promoted. I have screen shots of the google revenue since we put the message board up as well as traffic for the month of June and referrers (so you can see the traffic is mostly all type in).

Just simply used as passive revenue, this domain can pull in over 50 bucks a day on Sedo. Please make reasonable bids, good luck!

No, no legal issues at all. We are liquidating a lot of our websites, that has nothing to do with it. I have studied legal issues regarding owning this domain, and there's nothing to be scared of at all.

If you just read the ICANN guidelines you'll see how someone can be empowered to take a domain away from someone else. As long as you do not try to exploit badly with a domain like that, they can do nothing. You can still make a fan website and put advertisements on it, with out any worries. There's tons of them. If you put naked pictures of Angelina and photoshop her head on a porno, or claim to be her and the official site without permission, then yes, you're asking for trouble.

I paid a lot for the domain myself, but I checked with a couple 350 dollar an hour lawyers to make sure it was a safe investment before I did. There's no worries unless you had a porn site planned for it.

I never even heard of her (I'm on my computer more then tv) but I agree with you. Not all "TM" names are bad faith. Just cause it is a popular singer, movie star, or whatever, does not mean that she can just sue over the name. I have read enough WIPOs to know that myself. However I always say that the .com is a LOT more likely to have them after you then a .net or .org, cause you you see mostly .coms in wipo.

As for a porn site, I agree, it would be a sure fire way to loose the domain.

But as in Bruce Springsteen, they had the .net and wanted the .com, so they thought a wipo was the way to go.

It's just a problem with some programmers I have from India that cannot follow instructions very well. That intro is new, the message board has been there for just over a month. The website will be titled Angelina Jolie, not Angelina. The traffic it has now is from type in's (meaning someone said "hey, I wonder what's at w w w . a n g e l i n a j o l i e . c o m" and found it).

As for the google revenue, it's just simply from having a google ad on the forum (that's pretty amazing CTR for a forum, I think anyone would agree with that).

Like I said, if someone were to actually put some SEO work in and give this site some TLC, it would be a monster. Properly monetized this site could probably be doing 100+ dollars a day before any SEO or Linking is done, with just the type in traffic. BTW, Flash does just fine for SEO, I have made many sites number one for hard keywords that were flash sites.

Wouldn't that allow the new buyer to earn free money? Even if they do not turn around and purchase the domain. I think it would be allowed if you made a non-refundable down payment.
