Hey guys.

I have had angles.com parked for the last 5-6 months and am realizing increased revenues each month but I still feel that this domain has so much more potential.

I have received numerous offers to purchase including one from a guy who would be using the site as some white supremest type site.

(Using wikipedia the name 'Angles' goes back to the white anglo-saxens etc etc.)

So not wanting to promote that kind of crap I still have this domain - to keep parked, to develop, sell, lease?

Wondering if any of you have some good suggestions on how to monetize it better.

Revenues have been:
Dec - $150 (2900 visits)
Nov - $102
Oct - $86
Sep - $82
Aug - $62

Thanks!

I wouldn't let it go for less than 60 - 100 avg. monthly revenues. And I wouldn't sell it to someone whose use of the domain causes you to violate your ethics or integrity at all.

Where is the traffic coming from? Can you tell what kind of information visitors are seeking?

Edit: I mis-read the domain...

Good domain for math or "views" (political views, religios views etc..)

Sill, great potential for devolopment.

I agree, once I found out I was going to make the sale dependent on the buyer making a donation to an organization that he would oppose. But after more thought it just didn't sit right knowing how the domain would end up. I think we all get a little protective of our domains and want to see them go to a buyer who will serve them well.

Anyway. re: traffic I don't know much as the parking stats are limited. I have also used sedoPro and tried the mathematics/geometry 'angle'. I didn't know of the religious potential until the above mentioned racist.

thx guys

Well said! I've felt the same way with many domains, too bad it's cost me a lot of money. :(

I have lost lots of money too because I tried to be ethical. But at the end of the day, I can sleep at night and look at myself in the mirror in the morning.

I think that it is probably also a common mispelling of angel and sending traffic looking for angels to a hate speech site or a porn site is BAD karma.

Stick to your guns. It is a great domain and has lots of potential.

Vertical portals are hot right now, especially vertical social networks/communities. This would be a great domain for a math/engineer community, mountain climbing community, and endless others.

Good luck with it!

It could be developed into a photography site with different perspectives. I dunno, just an idea. Good for you for not selling out. :)
