Today Eurid announced there will be no list for domains avalaible on june 7th.
That's for avoiding cybersquatting, they say...

http://www.eurid.eu/en/general/news...se-when-a-name-is-being-released-from-sunrise

They have their clients with the false trademars, and these people will be, once again, in pole position to grab their names, against all the rules. :closed_2:
Shame on you, Eurid.

P.S. Can we produce a good expiring domain list to share good names to grab?
I hope so.

Tris

I got plenty of names but people are betting x,xxx euros on them so I don`t even bother trying

What? Oh this is BS! I remember browsing through their site in April, and one of their announcements said that even though there are protests from various parties against the release of such a list(supposedly to protect TM owners from cybersquating), they believe that they should provide it because as they said, cybersquatters would always find their way to those names even without a link and that they want to give everyone an even chance of registering a domain name.

Now, one month later, do the exact opposite in order to prevent cybersquatting? Do they think we are stupid?

EDIT:
I just found it on their site:

A quote from April 28 news update:
http://www.eurid.eu/en/general/news...xpired-will-be-made-available-again-on-june-7

"It has been suggested that by publishing a list we are helping the cyber squatters. We believe that these people are well aware of the releases anyway by studying the WHOIS database. By publishing a list, EURid wants to give everybody, including those parties who applied for names during Sunrise, a chance to see when the names will become available again. It also allows EURid to be transparent in what is happening with the Sunrise domain names."

And the quote from their recent news update:
http://www.eurid.eu/en/general/news...se-when-a-name-is-being-released-from-sunrise

"By publishing the release dates for the relevant domain names in the web Sunrise WHOIS database, EURid avoids publishing a full list of names to be released and in doing so does not assist cyber squatters."

in their 28. april update, EurID suggests that providing a list to the public will allow them to be transparent in what is happening in the sunrise. They said it, but they went ahead and acted otherwise anyway, proving to all of us that they are anything BUT transparent. I cannot believe that they expect us to believe this

I somewhat counted on the list to be made public, now I have to go hunting manually. I don't like it one bit.
