English is not the native language in China, so market is not so big. I say stick with TLD's and stay away from country-specific names. TLD's involve the whole world - as soon as you get a country specific name you are cutting out the VAST majority of your market.

Not true. .CN is good for foreigners looking for ways in. Also, for insiders, the educated Chinese are fast picking up English (the government is finally encouraging that). Englishclass.cn heh.

gTLDs are good. ccTLDs can be good under specific circumstances.

Best yet, get all.
