Anyone know how to get rid of "Autoplay" and/or "Clipboard"?

I would like to remove (delete) completely or permanently disable both "Autoplay" and "Clipboard" in Windows. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on how I can accomplish this without having to pay for a program or utility?

Autorun :

* Run the "Registry Editor" ("Start | Run | RegEdit.exe | ENTER")
* Select "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\CdRom"
* Double click on "Autorun"
* Change the value from "1" to "0"

Clipboard:

1. Quit any programs that are running.
2. Click Start, and then click Run. Type regedit and click OK.
3. In the Registry Editor, click to select the following subkey (folder):
HKey_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Common\General
4. On the Edit menu, point to New and click DWORD Value. With New Value #1 selected, type AcbControl, and then press ENTER.
5. On the Edit menu, click Modify. In the Edit DWORD Value dialog box, click Decimal under Base. Type 1 in the Value data box. Click OK and quit the Registry Editor.

Important : Backup your registry before messing with it . Try at your own risk . am not to be blamed in case something goes wrong..

Not sure about clipboard... hmmm.. Not sure where it puts the saved clip.. buffer or. Maybe try replacing clipsrv.exe with an empty file, then changing it to read only attributes? You would have to do it with a bartpe cd, or boot off a windows cd to do it, because windows file protection will replace it with the correct one almost as soon as you do it.. Be carefull though! No guarantees. Make a copy of the file first, in case you have to go back in and rename it back. Or maybe disable clipsrv.exe in the registry? Just thoughts, have tried neither.

Edit:

Never mind on the clipsrv.. that's not it.. it already has service, and it's disabled by default. Apparently that's for clipboard sharing.
