are premium .in domains been targeted?

i was just goin thru the thread here on dnf and encouraged me to post it here.

there are 2 big international companies who have been very active for last 3-4 months in particular.
they have few local companies (based in india) who have been capturing domains and then transferring to their a/cs.

question is, is it a ethical practice?

this is a question that have been haunting me a lot...
can i follow the same? can it be termed as back-order..
