Google has rolled out a major core update.

Specifically they are targeting Expired SEO Domains.

Does this make them less valuable?

Occasionally, expired domains are purchased and repurposed with the primary intention of boosting search ranking of low-quality or unoriginal content. This can mislead users into thinking the new content is part of the older site, which may not be the case. Expired domains that are purchased and repurposed with the intention of boosting the search ranking of low-quality content are now considered spam.

Expired domain abuse is where an expired domain name is purchased and repurposed primarily to manipulate Search rankings by hosting content that provides little to no value to users. For example, someone might purchase a domain previously used by a medical site and repurpose that to host low quality casino-related content, hoping to be successful in Search based on the domain's reputation from a previous ownership.

Hi

unless the domain has "seo" in it, then no such thing as seo domains.

expired names will have value, if they are valuable, but misappropriating original content for bullshit, should never be acceptable.

imo...

humm... interesting, who will be a judge at Google on these cases? .. hopefully not bots machine learners :/ .. there are many people who buy expired domains with history, with 1 mission only > to enter in the same market/niche the domain name was in already..

I suppose it will be all about the quality of the new content.. interesting topic..

.. huhhhh.. I am in the planning process of buying and reviving couple websites.. and these will be restored with the original content..

Be careful and make sure the new content is original.

In both cases I will be doing this > and continuing to operate the websites in the same direction.

Well, with Google's recent core update targeting expired SEO domains, it's natural to wonder about their value. While this change might impact the effectiveness of some strategies, I think that it doesn't necessarily make SEO domains less valuable overall. Again, that's just my point of view. It's all about adapting and staying ahead of the game. Have you considered reaching out to an internet marketing Temecula company for insights? They might have strategies to navigate these updates and keep your domains valuable in the ever-evolving landscape.
