Draftsman, surrealist illustrator and poet. One of the first Belgian surrealists. Exteriorize dices 1933 its unconscious by the automatic drawing (nightmares, fears, erotic whims). In 1939, illustrate the horrors of the war. Transpose under shape drawn by the literary works; " the singings of Maldoror " of Lautréamont ( 1933 ) and those of Chavée, Céline, Poe and Kafka.
