Every week, a handful of .ART domains quietly lapse and drift back onto the open market. Most were personal projects or one-off registrations that ran their course, but the names themselves are often too good to stay unclaimed for long. Here's what caught our eye this week.

piece.art — About as direct as it gets for an art-adjacent name: short, plain, and open to interpretation (a piece of art, a piece of work, take your pick).
neko.art — "Cat" in Japanese, and a name with instant, easy charm. Held for over six years before finally lapsing.
doer.art — One syllable, all momentum. A clean fit for a studio, a maker, or anyone who'd rather show than tell.
packable.art — A real word with a nice double life: literal (fits in a bag) and figurative (compact, portable creative work).
textural.art — Evocative and tactile, right at home for anything visual or design-related.
honeydeu.art — A playful near-miss on "honeydew" that reads sweeter for the twist.
radiiio.art — "Radio" stretched out just enough to feel like a wink rather than a typo.
fragmental.art — Held for over six years before it dropped. A word that suggests pieces, layers, and things still coming together.

That's this week's list. If one of these is calling your name, they're open again, first come, first served.

Just Dropped: Names Worth a Second Look

Every week, a handful of .ART domains quietly lapse and head back to the pool, opening the door for someone new. We're keeping an eye on them so you don't have to. Here's this week's short list of names we think are worth grabbing before someone else does.

painted.art — About as plain and evocative as a word gets, and it fits an art registry like a glove.
manifest.art — A punchy verb-or-noun that works equally well for a studio, a project, or a manifesto.
wavee.art — A stylized twist on "wave," light and aesthetic without trying too hard.
cacto.art — Short, warm, and botanical: cactus with the edges softened.
nadya.art — A clean single first name with no surname attached, quiet and poetic.
crayona.art — A playful coinage with an art-supply flavor baked right in.
goldfoil.art — A compound term that conjures finishing touches and gilded detail.
lumare.art — A light-themed coinage with a lumière-esque glow to it.

New batch, new picks, every week. Keep checking back.
