If I list a name for $1 and it sells for $2, and I do not want to sell at that price. Will I be breaking the auction rules if I refuse to sell?

TIA

Yes, your starting price is the lowest price you are willing to sell for.

Will you sell me RateSale.com for $2 if nobody outbids me?:-)

I have no choice, I've listed it with a starting price of $1.00.

Thanks for the plug!

Cheers

Thanks to you both.

I first thought that starting with $1 is some kind of a must. Hence the question.

It's a reasonable question, and this is valuable exposure for the correct answer. I hope it's clear by now that people who don't honor their auction committments will at the very least be shunned and persecuted, if not expelled from this forum.
