Thank you
Thank you
Well said. Although my ratio of "turkeys" to "winners" is nowhere near 30:1, it's still good enough to keep coming back for more.AmericanBulldog said:...If you assume $8 for registration and an OV score of 50 is $2.50 that's $10.50 vs $7.50 if you paid triple OV, we can all register names cheaper than $8 so your risk is low, you own the domain,if it makes more than 3 cents a day it was a good purchase, you can keep it, sell it or if you have the kind or relationship with a registrar that let's you cancel the domain after testing it for a few days then your risk is even lower.
To be sure, I register some I consider turkeys, but for every bad one I probably register 30 or more good ones. If you look at the history of those that donate and register, many of them keep doing so, that in itself would suggest that there is value in them. It's not a get rich quick scheme, many of then domains I have don't earn money every day, but they do earn money, the one's that make less than 3 cents I can sell or drop, the others I keep and build an income generating portfolio at very low cost. At $8 a domain and 3 cents a day in earnings that's a very healthy annual ROI.
